How to Become a Successful Nail Technician

Each month, we host a training and recruitment program for eighteen deserving applicants who are keen on learning how to apply nails according to the high standards of Tammy Taylor Nails. Being associated with our brand means that you can expect nothing less than the royal treatment. Our products are used in more than one hundred thousand nail salons all around the world. In South Africa alone we have established over one hundred nail salons in different locations across the country.

The eighteen applicants who are chosen to participate in the training course will go through a series of tests and learn subjects such as:

Optiphi skincare training
Operations and sales training
A sculpting workshop
A gel technical class

The last test that the trainees will participate in is for an opportunity to be recruited as a professional nail technician at any one of the Tammy Taylor nail and beauty salons in South Africa. The candidates who are selected will then be presented with an opportunity to join a private Masterclass in which they will learn extra tips and tricks that will help them stand out in their field of work. And not only that, but these nail technicians will also be able to participate in all training courses that take place during their time working for Tammy Taylor Nails South Africa.

Pricing and Packages

When you decide to apply for our training course, you will be presented with a choice to participate in either the beginner class, the advanced course, or the conversion course.

For those candidates who choose to participate in the beginner class, it is important to make sure that you organize a model for the second, third, fourth, and fifth days of training. The advanced and conversion classes require the use of a model only on the first, second, and third days of training.

In terms of pricing, the beginner class costs a total of R12 500 for the full five days. This price includes the full five-day training to the value of R30 000 as well as a start-up kit courtesy of Tammy Taylor Nails.

When you choose to participate in the beginner’s course will be provided with meals for breakfast and lunch for you and your model.

Training starts promptly at 08:30 am. Those candidates who do not arrive on time will be panelised for the late attendance. All models are expected to arrive at the training venue no later than 9:00 am and can leave the premises at 3:00 pm.
